The #fires are making a mockery of Australia's environment policies. These forests are locked up by councils and environment departments in the name of "vegetation protection" and/or #carbonoffsetting. Would that be your carbon guys & gals, heading skyward? Or someone's house? https://t.co/97hDrpomzl
